Providing top notch mental healthcare.
Beacon Hill Therapy is a private psychotherapy practice with offices in Boston and on the north shore of Massachusetts, offering thoughtful, personalized care for children, adolescents, and adults seeking greater clarity, connection, and emotional well-being. Our approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and clinical expertise, creating a space where clients can explore challenges, understand patterns, and foster meaningful change. We believe therapy is both an opportunity for relief and a process of growth, one that helps people live with authenticity and balance.
Experience, insight, and care you can trust
Founded by Dr. Devlin Jackson, a clinical psychologist based in Boston, the practice serves individuals and couples through a confidential, client-centered approach. Dr. Jackson brings warmth, insight, and over a decade of clinical experience to her work, drawing on evidence-based methods tailored to each person’s goals. At Beacon Hill Therapy, we are dedicated to helping clients build the awareness and tools needed to move forward with confidence and self-understanding.
Our Services
Initial Consultation
Your first step toward healing starts here. The initial consultation is a chance for us to get to know each other and determine whether our practice is the right fit for your needs. We’ll talk through your concerns, goals, and what brings you to therapy. This session typically lasts 20–30 minutes and is offered at no cost. It’s an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how we work before committing to ongoing care.
Talk Therapy
Talk therapy is a collaborative space where we explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or life transitions, our goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Online or in-person, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and can evolve as your goals shift over time. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Diagnostic Assessment
A diagnostic assessment helps us understand the full picture of your mental and emotional health. During this comprehensive evaluation, we’ll explore your history, symptoms, and current challenges to determine an accurate diagnosis—if one is appropriate. This process guides treatment planning and ensures that therapy is both focused and effective. Assessments are conducted with care, clarity, and collaboration, and rates depend on the nature of the assessment provided.
Child/Play Therapy
Children often express themselves best through play. In child and play therapy, we create a safe, engaging environment where kids can explore feelings, build coping skills, and work through challenges at their own pace. Using age-appropriate techniques, we support emotional growth and help children navigate issues such as anxiety, behavioral concerns, trauma, and family changes. Parents are included as partners in the therapeutic process.
